Built in 1897, the Inn at St. John stands as Portland’s oldest continuously operating inn and one of the city’s most distinctive lodging properties. The 39-unit inn in retains its historic charm while offering a diverse room mix, including traditional en-suite rooms, as well as several with private or shared hallway baths — an authentic reflection of its architectural era. Located across from Maine Medical Center, the inn includes the abutting restaurant currently leased out.
